State of war to be abolished on September 2
The Georgian Parliament will abolish the state of war on September 2. David Bakradze, Georgia’s Parliamentary Speaker reported during today’s bureau session.
According to Bakradze, Georgia is transferring from state of war into state of emergency which is going to be declared in those places where the Russian troops are still maintaining positions.
The state of war was declared on August 9, and on August 23 it was prolonged till September 8 by the decision of parliament.
