Poti residents rally against Russian aggressors

Residents of Poti hold a large-scale demonstration in the city against the Russian occupation today. Several hundreds of protestors marched towards the place where the Russian occupants have arranged entrenchments and illegal checkpoints. Despite the assertion of the Russian president that the large-scale pullout of the Russian army began, the aggressors refuse to leave Poti.
The protestors were shouting ”Go Way, Viva Georgia! Russian mothers, take away your beasts, your fascists from here,”. There were ethnic Russians among protestors, who said they were ashamed to be Russians due to the behavior of the Russian authorities.

Bravo, to the people of Georgia for their courage to stand up against the thug Putin. I wish that Western leaders, intellectuals, artists and celebrities would also go to Tbilisi and lead ralllies and demonstrations against Putin. Ronald Reagan certainly would have. Don’t back down Georgians. The world knows you are right. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
